SERNA and NEMTU

 

            Long ago after the end of the battle on Zoidstar, some Zoidaryan colonnies survived the war, with some alive Zoidaryans at their heads. One of those colonnies was an hidden planet named Serna, in another universe, ruled by Red Zoidaryans. Those Zoidaryans had lost contact with their planet Zoidstar, and were unable to come back to their world. This was lasting for centuries, and the Red Zoidaryans spent this time to build again Zoids, to reconquer their lost Empire, and find a way to come back to their planet. Then were born Gorder, Stundra, Zarox, Guaruder, Iron Kong MK3 and many others. The conquest was about to be launched, when something was brought to the Red Zoidaryans attention : in a reconnaissance mission, a familiar mecha signature was spotted on another lost planet. It was a Blue Zoid! A Blue colonny survived too, and was living on this planet. The Serna Zoidaryans couldn’t allow to have a Blue faction in this universe, even if it wasn’t sure that they were dangerous. So two missons were going to be done : one, lead by Iron Kong MK3 that will come back on Zoidstar and regained the lost Empire (this was a story I made in 1998 in several comics), and another launched on this little Blue colonny, on this planet named Nemtu.

 

          Nemtu was a planet of water and islands. There was nowhere large mainlands (like on Earth for example), and the Blue Zoidaryans were living on those islands, inside big cities, sometimes built on several neighbouring islands. The Red Zoidaryans choosed to build sea Zoids to begin, the Blue Zoids of Nemtu were only labours ones, and there was only two little Zoids, looking like the old White Heads conquistadors to protect the planet : Agrion and Grantulla MK2. The Red Army will have to be able to fight in those seas. Then was sent Kraken, previously seen for the conquest, Nemtu was a better battlefield for him. Other sea Zoids were created, using the model of Zeherl (who was belonging to Iron Kong MK3 army), two crab-like Zoids were created : Zeherl MK2 and Sea Spider. With those three Zoids, the Red army could attack Nemtu and destroy towns and instalations without encountering resistance. But the Blue Zoidaryans were very well developped on this planet, better than the Red from Serna, where the planet air was toxic for the inhabitants that had to live under a dome. It was not long for the Blue Zoidaryans to build Zoids for their own defense. A little conquistador Zoid, Octozoid, was reactivated to fight those new Reds. Several project began, but one was absolutly urging : finding an opponent to Kraken who was ruling the seas. Then was born Langosta, and his partners Nephrops and Krhill. All in this Zoid was thought to be Kraken opponent. It was not possible to do a Zoid as big and fast than the big squids, so all was made for Langosta to resist against any attack. His armor is enough strong to bear Kraken hold, and the Zoid has enough strengh to escape when he is caught. He is also over-weaponed to bear any short and long range attack, even from several opponents. His secret habilities is his antennaes, which can send electronic waves around him, that could be enough strong to alterate all kind of view and radar systems of other Zoids.

 

            On the surface, the Red Zoidaryans didn’t stay inactive : A vast archipelago had been cleaned of all Blue installations by Kraken, this place became the headquarters of a brand new Red army that landed there. A little Zoid, Zavenga, used for enginering was sent to Nemtu and created there a Red factory. Then, the Red army will now be able to live by itself on Nemtu, while Serna put all his attention on the conquest. Ground Zoids were created to attack on the surface, before the Blue Zoidaryans could prepare their ground defense. And it worked in the begining, because the little Grantulla MK2 was destroyed and Agrion escaped by chance from the new Ardeosaurus Red and his army. Nephrops had to leave the sea to help his fellow Blue Zoids. The Blue Zoidaryans had to react, and quick brand new Blue Zoids were created in their south factories, mostly flying Zoids (easy to travel on Nemtu) like Locusta, Coeada or Armored Sworder. Those Zoids were needing a leader, and inspired by the memory of the greatest Zoid of the History, NeoZilla was born.

 

               Even if NeoZilla was able to fight under the sea (he was even able to defeat Kraken in single battle, inside the water) and travel under the water between neighbour islands, he was unable to reach islands of the Blue planet that were too far, very fast. Then a transport Zoid had to be done, to carry this great leader where he was needed, the fastest possible. A transport Zoid that had to be as big and important than his leader : Pscaber was created. With him was also created the little Segmentia, always partning with Pscaber and protecting him. Pscaber became not only NeoZilla transport, but could be used for several Zoids at one time. With his help, the Blue army could operate on an island in a little time.

 

                 But very quick, NeoZilla deceided to put an end to this Red invasion, and a big attack on the Red archipelago was planned. All the Blue army was involved, even new Blue Zoids were created for that. The assault was a succes, the Red were taken by surprise, they never thought the Blue could attack. The archipelago was destroyed, NeoZilla even destroyed Kraken in the sea, and several Red Zoids were definetly anihilated : Zeherl MK2, Stegomya, Ardeosaurus Red... but on the Blue side there was loses too : Agrion, Krhill, Nephrops...

 

                The Blues had the felling that all threat was gone, but in fact, some little Reds survived, and the most important survived : Zavenga. He was able, in an hidden factoy, to rebuld new Red Zoids. His first idea was to build an opponent to NeoZilla, as efficient in the sea than on the ground. Then Hanech was born. He was made to be the new Red weapon, fast, sneak and strong enough to be as powerful than NeoZilla, even if he was looking too thin for that. Langosta was the first to fell his wraith, and was destroyed without opposing too much battle. New Red Zoids followed and became Hanech army : Vertex, Saren, Maruvian. In the sea, a new Red threat was sent, to terrorize the depth and prevent all Blue army to travel in peace : Scaphites.
